Light rain begins in Muscat Governorate

Muscat: The light rain began in the Muscat Governorate early this morning, bringing a welcome relief to the region after a long period of dry weather. The rain is expected to continue for the next few hours, bringing much-needed moisture to the area. This will be a welcome respite for residents of the Muscat Governorate, who have been dealing with dry conditions for some time.

The air bulletin issued by the General Directorate of Meteorology indicated that part of the Sultanate will witness fresh North Western wind tomorrow, with a relative drop in temperature and rising dust over deserts and open areas.

The latest weather updates showed the start the accumulation of clouds over Muscat Governorate, and chances of scattered light rain until midnight.
